Steel City in the Museum of Merkur

Steel City in the Museum of Merkur

The construction work on the Steel city began in 2000 in Roudnice nad Labem in the attic of Jiří Mládek. The building is inspired by Jules Verne's novel and the amazing technique of 19th century. Its idea has been in the mind of the creator since the 1950s. Model of this HUGE construction is placed in the museum of Merkur in Police nad Metují and it is included in the Guiness's book of world records as the biggest construction of its kind on the world.
